With the Monitor OPC Data Control you can read and write OPC data. You even get an event to tell you whenever a value has changed. All the complex details of creating an OPC client are taken care of by the the OPC Data Control.

The control makes the connection to the OPC Server and manages an OPC group. All you do is specify the items you want to monitor and control and the control takes care of the rest. Everytime the value of an item changes a DataChange event is fired telling you the OPCItem, it's value, quality and timestamp.
